Internationalization

description

Hi, I was trying to run the latest version of the app (Version 1.6.2). but there's a problem while serializing the decimal values on edititem forms

My current localization is Spanish and during serialization it outputs an invalid comma decimal separator (ok for us, huh) and won't set any default values for those fields. After form submitting, any decimal validation fails (null value). I believe this should be transparent to the user.

Some fields having this trouble:
PTZ Panorama Selection Rectangle Width
PTZ Panorama Selection Rectangle Height

*All fields are validated, even w/o PTZ functionality.

NOTE: In previous releases, this is not happening.

Argh.

I really have no idea how to fix this. Shouldn't your browser be using the same localization rules as .NET so that it accepts the commas in numbers?

I suppose input type="text" instead of input type="number" should work around the problem where the server (.net app) and client (web page) are using different localization rules.

This should be fixed with version 1.6.3 which I just uploaded. The input field now has type "text" so the browser won't care whether it uses a comma or a period as the decimal separator character.
