Release Notes

vlc_transcode cameras are perhaps slightly more reliable, but still have a tendency to occasionally crash the service. If you must use the vlc_transcode camera type, be sure to configure your service to automatically restart upon failure.

Made core jpeg/mjpeg functionality compatible with Mono/Linux (not including vlc_transcode and h264_rtsp_proxy camera types). Tested and working on Raspberry PI, but that system is so slow that it would be unwise to use it for much.

PTZ requests can now be forwarded to another CameraProxy server.

Added the EXPERIMENTAL ability to do most image processing with ImageMagick instead of .NET Bitmaps, if running on a Windows host. This option is disabled by default and is only available by editing the configuration file directly when the app is not running.

vlc_transcode camera type will now auto-detect the video width and height if these fields are left = 0 during camera setup.

Users can be added from the web interface again.
